This weekend’s to-do list: 11/13/10
- At LEAST get the boxes unpacked that are in the dining room and front room.
- Buy light blue spray paint for the set of Windsor chairs that I’ve picked up here & there. (Still need 1 more for a set of 6)
- Paint the Windsor chairs!
- Hang the electric sconces in the front room over the daybed.
- Mount all the guitar and mandolin-hanging hardware in the front room next to the piano.
- Clean and organize the laundry room.
- Clean and organize the kitchen.
- Clean all 3 bathrooms.
- Make a checklist of loose ends from around the house to wrap up. (Like putting away the bins of Halloween stuff.)
- Hang the new backyard lantern.
- Find a cover for the grill.
- Winterize the backyard (empty the fountain, put away anything that holds water, pack away the cushions.)
- Any piles of laundry, shoes, etc….WRANGLE THEM. Old shoes to donation, laundry down the chute, get loads of wash going.
- Swap out Sophia’s bedding (deemed: “too little girl-like”) for something more “tween”.
- Get a front loader and clear out her room.
OK. That should be enough to be accountable for. Let’s see how we do!

BUT I would like to add that I also completely emptied out and cleaned the chicken coop AND took Sophia to get her hair cut (she donated a foot long ponytail to Locks of Love (I’m so proud of her, she has such a great heart).
That’s gotta count for something, right?
